Chapter 135: Teasing My Girlfriend Is More Fun
The Aloof Campus Belle's cheeks were redder than her lips.
She was too shy to look Jiang Muye in the eye.
Looking at her delectable oval face, Jiang Muye's interest only deepened.
He teased her on purpose. "If you don't say it, I won't give you your phone back."
The flush on Leng Ruoli's face deepened. "Then you call me wife first, and I'll say it."
"Oh ho, so now you know how to extrapolate." Jiang Muye burst out laughing.
Leng Ruoli's ears burned from the ribbing. Facing his teasing, she stammered, "You… if you don't want to, then forget it."
"Who said I don't want to?" After a bit of mental preparation, Jiang Muye coughed and said solemnly, "Wife."
That magnetic voice ran through Leng Ruoli's ears like an electric current.
She felt a tingling sensation.
Her breathing grew a little uneven, and seeing Jiang Muye's deeply affectionate look, she couldn't help but laugh out loud.
Of course, she looked beautiful when she laughed—eyes glistening, nose pert, lips red. When her smile spread, it gave people the sweetness of biting into a donut.
Watching her, Jiang Muye's heart surged.
Not to mention how Leng Ruoli parted her red lips slightly and called out shyly, "Hubby…"
She immediately covered that lotus-like beautiful face with both hands in embarrassment, but through the gaps between her fingers it was obvious just how hot and red her little face was.
Jiang Muye felt his whole body buzzing with excitement.
He broke into a grin, leaned right over, put his hand on the back of Leng Ruoli's neck, pulled her in, and planted a kiss right on her forehead, declaring domineeringly, "Good girl. From now on, that's what you'll call me."
Leng Ruoli was very shy, clearly trembling with excitement.
It made Jiang Muye's blood run hot while also leaving him a bit abashed.
After all, it was his first time in a relationship, so he was actually pretty inexperienced, but dating really was sweet.
Leng Ruoli grew even redder and shyer, clinging to Jiang Muye like a little bird.
After the two of them whispered and nuzzled for a while, Jiang Muye took Leng Ruoli's phone and said, "Come on, let's change the contact name."
"Contact name?"
"What's the date today?" Jiang Muye asked her.
Leng Ruoli thought for a moment and said, "November 10th."
Jiang Muye's mouth curved. "What's tomorrow?"
"Singles' Day." Leng Ruoli answered again.
"What a pity. You won't be able to celebrate it anymore," Jiang Muye said with a sigh.
Leng Ruoli caught on a beat late. Her eyes lit up and she said with a smile, "But I can celebrate other holidays from now on."
"Hm?" Jiang Muye made a questioning sound.
Leng Ruoli leaned in. Jiang Muye thought she was going to kiss his lips.
Who would've thought that, blushing furiously, she'd kiss the corner of his mouth instead.
In that instant, Jiang Muye's heart pounded.
He could already feel the sweetness of the ambiguous tension fermenting in the air.
It was more reserved than a direct kiss on the lips.
But all the more alluring.
"I can celebrate Valentine's Day now," Leng Ruoli said, pausing for a beat before gazing at Jiang Muye with longing and adding, "with you."
Paired with her voice, clear as sweet spring water, Jiang Muye was drawn to her with his entire being.
"Yes, yes, yes, we'll celebrate everything together from now on." He gathered Leng Ruoli's hair and let her press her face against his cheek, holding her so mushily that he couldn't bear to let go for a long while.
He liked her soft, fragrant body.
He liked her tender, affectionate gaze.
He liked her lovely, charming voice.
He liked her scent, her smile, the way she leaned on him like a little bird.
"But you forgot, we can celebrate other holidays too." Jiang Muye lowered his head and nuzzled her forehead affectionately.
Leng Ruoli asked, puzzled, "What?"
"Our dating anniversary, silly." Jiang Muye wrapped his arm around Leng Ruoli's waist and rocked her gently, smiling deeply as he continued, "Today is November 10th, the first day of our official relationship, and also the anniversary of our first year together, our second year together, our third year together, our nth year together."
Leng Ruoli's eyes widened in sudden understanding, and she smiled innocently. "That's right."
Jiang Muye gently stroked Leng Ruoli's hair and said, "But the dating anniversary alone isn't enough. I also want to celebrate wedding anniversaries with you—paper, cotton, tin, porcelain, pearl, gold, even diamond."
"And then I can celebrate Father's Day, and you can celebrate Mother's Day. We'll hold hands and grow old together, with children and grandchildren around us."
Every word he said was like beautiful music sweeping across Leng Ruoli's heart.
Most importantly, she could picture it all in her mind.
Her eyes reddened.
But her heart grew warm.
He had her in his future plans, and was even thinking about marrying her someday.
"I had a dream before," Leng Ruoli said, a sweet smile spreading as she looked at Jiang Muye.
"What dream?"
"It's come true now." Leng Ruoli wrapped her arms around Jiang Muye's neck. "It was that I wanted to be with you. Now I have a little goal."
Jiang Muye asked, "And what's this little goal?"
"To marry you," Leng Ruoli said brightly.
"Alright, then I'll set a little goal too," Jiang Muye said cheerfully.
"To marry me?" Leng Ruoli asked.
But Jiang Muye just smiled and kissed Leng Ruoli's forehead. "Not just that. I'm thinking about how many kids we should have, and whether boys would be better or girls."
Leng Ruoli's face went red. She had never imagined Jiang Muye was thinking that far ahead.
"Isn't it too early?" Leng Ruoli murmured shyly.
"Hm, you don't want to?" Jiang Muye raised an eyebrow, teasing her on purpose. "Do you want me to go think about it with someone else?"
"No no no, I don't want that." When Jiang Muye moved to let go of her, she grabbed his arm and hugged him tight.
"Alright, I'm just teasing you. Look at you, all scared." Jiang Muye gazed fondly at Leng Ruoli leaning against him. "If it's not you giving birth, I don't want them no matter how many someone else has."
Leng Ruoli looked like she was soaking in a jar of honey, smiling sweetly.
"Alright, let's change the contact name." Jiang Muye got back to the point. He picked up Leng Ruoli's phone and opened WeChat, and after a slight pause, asked in confusion, "What does 1% mean?"
Leng Ruoli was terribly embarrassed. "If I tell you, don't laugh at me."
"Okay."
"Because you're my one in a hundred, and also the person I'd still chat with when I'm down to my last 1% battery." Leng Ruoli said shyly.
Jiang Muye's first reaction upon hearing it: That works?
Subconsciously, his whole body went red.
She was way too good at flirting.
And it was coming from Leng Ruoli's own mouth.
But hearing it, Jiang Muye felt like he was floating on air.
Without another word, he took out his own phone and typed a few characters.
"This is the name I gave you."
Jiang Muye turned his phone toward Leng Ruoli, and she looked over curiously.
【My Base Crystal】
Leng Ruoli was completely baffled by this contact name.
"What does 'My Base Crystal' mean?" Leng Ruoli's eyes fluttered, full of confusion.
