Chapter 296: Xia Xiran's Fiancé
Rejected 99 Times, the Aloof Campus Belle Comes On Strong
Boss Cutie
“That’s right, in the girls’ dorm,” Jiang Muye said with a calm nod.
Leng Ruoli immediately grew tense and grabbed Jiang Muye’s hand, her voice excited. “Get out of here, quick! If Auntie finds out, we’re done for.”
Seeing Leng Ruoli’s anxious expression, Jiang Muye laughed. He reached out and ruffled her hair. “Relax, Auntie knows.”
“Auntie… knows? That we… we did that?” Leng Ruoli froze for a few seconds, her oval face turning red in the extreme.
She glanced down at her bare body, then at Jiang Muye, who lay there just as naked, and her face went crimson.
“You guess.”
“Definitely not!” Leng Ruoli forced out, bashful.
Jiang Muye chuckled brightly. “You’re so smart, baby.”
He kneaded her slender waist and wouldn’t let go, planting a kiss on her flushed little face. “How could we let Auntie know what we get up to?”
The thought of it was actually a bit thrilling.
He was probably the only guy who had ever snuck into the girls’ dorm to be openly intimate with his girlfriend.
Leng Ruoli’s face burned red. She pushed at Jiang Muye’s shoulder, and he laughed and leaned right back into her.
After the two had their fill of affection, Jiang Muye asked, “Are you feeling uncomfortable anywhere? What with the thunder last night.”
“Thunder… what about the thunder?” Leng Ruoli stared at him, utterly baffled.
Jiang Muye was surprised for a few seconds, then laughed. “Nothing, it’s just that all girls are afraid of thunder and lightning, right, so I secretly slipped in to keep you company.”
Good thing Leng Ruoli had forgotten what happened before. Now he could just make up an excuse and gloss over it.
“Then no more of that, you hear me,” Leng Ruoli huffed.
“No more of what? Sneaking in on thunder days, or keeping you company?” Jiang Muye smirked.
Leng Ruoli’s ears went scarlet. She gave his back a light pound. “You know perfectly well, you’re just asking!”
“What do you mean, I know perfectly well? I’m genuinely curious.” Jiang Muye’s smile deepened. “I want to hear it from your own mouth.”
His teasing made her ears flush red. She rested her head on his shoulder and said tenderly, “Alright, you should worry about how you’re getting out of here.”
“I’ll just go down, bold as brass.” Jiang Muye laughed carelessly.
Leng Ruoli’s eyes went wide. “Bold as brass? Aren’t you afraid Auntie will wallop you?”
“Not afraid.” If anything, Auntie had more reason to be afraid of him.
Leng Ruoli was still half doubtful. Jiang Muye pinched her cheek with a smile. “Alright, I need to get going.”
Right in front of her, he started picking up the clothes he’d tossed aside, and found them still soaking wet.
Jiang Muye blanked for a few seconds, then decided he’d just put on the damp clothes after all—but then Leng Ruoli scrambled up, pulled a loose white shirt and a pair of sweatpants from the wardrobe, and handed them to him. “Wear these.”
“Alright.” Jiang Muye took them with a smile and stole a whiff. “My baby’s so thoughtful.”
Jiang Muye put on Leng Ruoli’s white shirt.
The women’s cut was really tight, but it carried a faint fresh fragrance.
On Jiang Muye, it showed off his pecs plain as day.
“Tsk tsk tsk, my pecs are huge, aren’t they,” Jiang Muye bragged.
Leng Ruoli’s little face was bright red. Ignoring his showing off, she stepped forward to button the shirt for him, from the bottom button to the top. “Just get dressed first and talk later.”
Jiang Muye laughed a “heh.” He ran a hand over the lovely curve of her back.
Flustered, Leng Ruoli pounded his shoulder with her little fists. “Behave yourself.”
Jiang Muye’s smile deepened, savoring his girlfriend’s exclusive service.
Only after he got the pants on did he discover the key problem.
He looked at Leng Ruoli with resentment. “Baby, your waist is too tiny. They’re stuck.”
“These are already my biggest pants,” Leng Ruoli mumbled. “How about you wear a skirt?”
“Oh, no, I refuse.” A crossdressing boss was out of the question.
What kind of man wears a skirt? Does that even make sense?
And besides, he had nothing in the way of special hobbies anyway.
The corners of Leng Ruoli’s mouth quivered with a suppressed smile. She nodded. “Alright, got it.”
She came over to help Jiang Muye pull up the pants, and it took a lot of effort before he got them on. Apart from being a bit tight around the crotch, there was nothing wrong with that.
He was a guy, after all. Some innate advantages couldn’t be blocked. There was nothing to be done about it.
“I’m off.” Jiang Muye kissed Leng Ruoli’s red lips and left the room with a smile.
When he came out of the dorm, he ran into a startled girl, but Jiang Muye was completely unruffled and simply walked past.
The girls stared at his retreating back, transfixed, squealing, “It’s Jiang Muye, so handsome, so handsome!”
“As expected of our school’s Young Master Jiang! Off-the-charts looks and that rich too. I’m so jealous of the Aloof Campus Belle~”
When Jiang Muye left the girls’ dorm building, even the dorm Auntie treated him with the utmost respect.
He was just about to head to the boys’ dorm when his phone rang.
He looked and saw it was a call from a subordinate.
“Hello, did you pinpoint him?” Jiang Muye asked casually, his gaze far off.
“Yes, it’s just…”
“Just what?” Hearing his subordinate stammer, Jiang Muye’s brows knit. “Out with it.”
“Jiangjia Village, number 265.”
Jiang Muye’s eyes flashed with surprise. That was his home! His original home!
…
a City, outside the original Jiang family home at Jiangjia Village, number 256.
The sun began to peek through after the rain, spilling across the ground.
A taxi drove along the limestone road and stopped at the gate.
The original Jiang family home was a newly rebuilt three-story red-tiled house. It wasn’t the most refined, but it was easy on the eyes. Beside it stood a large locust tree, its branches lush and full, leaves stretching all the way to the window edge, a fresh green.
Several plots of land lay next to the house, planted with tender, plump cabbage, but it was plain they hadn’t been tended for a long while. The vegetables were densely packed together, and no one had come to take any.
A pair of red leather shoes stretched out from the taxi, followed by the appearance of a young, beautiful girl.
She had a crossbody bag slung over her shoulder and was curiously taking in her surroundings.
This wasn’t Xia Xiran’s first time in this place.
When she was little, her parents had brought her here to play.
She had naturally crossed paths with Jiang Muye too.
Back then, Xia Xiran hadn’t been deeply impressed by Jiang Muye. She only knew he liked to climb trees and was always tanned dark by the sun.
He was very thin, and when he smiled, his white teeth stood out.
He had warmly taken her up the hill to pick raspberries, and one bite had been so sweet.
When he saw her hands were dirty, he had scrubbed them with soap for her, rubbing until the stains on her palms were washed completely clean.
Back then, she had known he was her fiancé.
But she had no interest in him, and thought her parents were joking. She only wanted to fall in love freely and marry the person she liked.
