The Head Butler immediately shook her head. She cried as she said to Xiang Shan, "I had no other choice, Madam."

"Go to the police station. As long as you turn yourself in, I'll remember our old ties and go easy on you," Xiang Shan said through gritted teeth.

In truth, her heart was being cut like a knife. After all, being betrayed by someone she had spent so many years with naturally left her feeling awful.

The Head Butler was filled with despair, but after a period of struggle, she could only make her choice.

Xiang Shan personally had someone send the Head Butler to the police station.
