" Aunt was just looking for an excuse. She loves you because she loves me, you little dummy," Leng Ruoli said with a smile.

Jiang Muye hadn't really minded to begin with. He understood it too, but hearing his Darling coax him like this made him much happier.

He was a bit pumped.

"Alright, I was just teasing you. How could I think that?" After Jiang Muye finished speaking with Leng Ruoli, he video-called Aunt.

Aunt picked up quickly.

"Aunt, thanks for the red envelope you gave us!" Jiang Muye replied gratefully.

"Yes, thank you, Aunt!"

Aunt smiled and replied, "Me? I've still got an ulterior motive."

"What motive?" Jiang Muye asked.

"Of course it's for you two to have kids and let me babysit for a few days to satisfy myself. I've never raised a little kid, so I have regrets. Seeing how cute little kids are now, let me fulfill that wish of mine." Aunt smiled.

Actually, Aunt did have regrets in her heart. When she married the Chairman of the Chen Clan, he was already quite old, and there was an age gap between them.

The Chairman of the Chen Clan hadn't been able to have children before, so for the sake of money she could only become a DINK. Fortunately, she still had a nephew.

When the two kids were born, she'd be able to enjoy the joys of family life too. That would be a good thing.

Aunt was naturally very happy.

"It's not the same. Anyway, come to our place for dinner tomorrow, the first day of the new year!" Jiang Muye invited Aunt, and Aunt smiled and replied, "That's for sure. Eldest Sister-in-law cooks so well, I have to come mooch a meal. I was going to come today, but a few of my clients kept pestering me to play mahjong, so I couldn't get away. What a shame."

"It's fine, you can still eat it tomorrow anyway!" Leng Ruoli smiled and reassured Aunt.

After chatting a bit more with Jiang Muye and Leng Ruoli, Aunt hung up.

Jiang Muye and Leng Ruoli hurried off to grab red envelopes. The fun of grabbing red envelopes was something you enjoyed no matter how much money you made. A leisure activity like this, they wished they could do every day.
