Killed your father.

Naturally, those were just mocking words.

But Lin Qi had roughly guessed why this Cyclops, so distinctly marked by the Yin World, hated him so deeply.

It was likely because of the Yin-Yang Macrocosm’s equally chaotic space-time.

Just like the reversed Yin and Yang Worlds.

Which caused the Yin World and Yang World of the entire Yin-Yang Macrocosm to interpenetrate, the living and the dead coexisting.

After the Yin-Yang Macrocosm lost the River of Time.

The space-time of the entire Cosmos had also fallen into unparalleled chaos.

On a cosmic scale, neither time nor space retained continuity anymore.

During a Stable Era, the various Plane-Worlds were each isolated, unconnected, so the impact was not great.

But when a Chaotic Era appeared, an unparalleled space-time chaos emerged.

Situations where past, present, and future interwove into a chaotic space-time were merely commonplace.

For example.

Suppose Lin Qi descended into Plane-World A in the year 2023.

After the arrival of a Chaotic Era.

Lin Qi entered Plane-World B’s year 1999 from Plane-World A’s 2023, then unleashed his might, routing the beings of Plane-World B.

When the Chaotic Era ended, Lin Qi retreated back to Plane-World A.

And a certain being of Plane-World B, harboring hatred for Lin Qi, licked its wounds during the Stable Era, nurturing its grudge.

When Plane-World B reached the year 2023.

Another Chaotic Era descended.

The being of Plane-World B, seeking vengeance, searched high and low and finally found Plane-World A where Lin Qi resided.

But when it stepped into Plane-World A, it discovered it had arrived in the year 1999 of Plane-World A.

And at this time, Lin Qi had not yet descended into Plane-World A.

Simply put.

When a Chaotic Era arrived.

When the various Plane-Worlds connected and made contact, it was not only random on the spatial level.

It was equally random on the temporal level.

Unless one Plane-World was completely destroyed and merged.

Otherwise, you would never know, when the next Chaotic Era arrived.

Whether the enemy you encountered came from which Plane-World.

Even less could you know in advance whether that Plane-World was in the past, present, or future.

This was enough to turn the entire Yin-Yang Macrocosm into a massive Dark Forest.

Of course.

The true reason all Plane-Worlds had no choice but war was mostly due to the third and most critical of all the Yin-Yang Macrocosm’s sources of chaos.
