Dream Dao Attainment, Opening Scheme Against Cultivators
Dream-Making Expert
King Yanfu sighed softly.
Standing before the Long River of the Departed, the Departed Like Water.
Her heart, long since unrippled, could not help but stir with wind, wrinkling a pool of spring water.
Words like relieving suffering and delivering from tribulation, saving the myriad living.
King Yanfu had actually heard them countless times before.
In truth, before Lin Qi and the others descended upon the Yin-Yang Macrocosm.
To be precise, before a thousand years ago.
Before the Other-Self curse had fallen upon the cultivators from the Foreign Realm.
Throughout that long stretch of years.
Too many cultivators stood high above, utterly unable to empathize with the living beings of the Yin-Yang Macrocosm.
The Buddhist order, the Daoist order, the Demon Race, the Spirit Race…
All kinds of Dao Lineages, all manner of beliefs had once bloomed across the entire Yin-Yang Macrocosm.
Back then, the cultivators who descended from the Foreign Realm did not advocate battle and slaughter.
Quite the contrary.
They tirelessly preached their Dao Lineages and their Cosmos to the living beings of the Yin-Yang Macrocosm.
And for a very long time.
They became honored guests of the various Planar Worlds.
They only needed to casually discuss the Dao and expound on scriptures to easily harvest all kinds of cultivation resources, earning the gratitude and faith of the native beings of the Yin-Yang Macrocosm.
That was a long era when foreign monks were good at chanting sutras.
The living beings of the Yin-Yang Macrocosm not only did not treat cultivators from the Foreign Realm as enemies.
Instead, they treated any cultivator from the Foreign Realm as a straw of salvation that could bring the gospel and save the world from the Sea of Suffering.
They had truly once naively believed that as long as they accepted the Dao Lineages from the Foreign Realm and worshipped the Outer Gods of the Foreign Realm.
Then the Buddha, Immortal Venerable, Demon Emperor, God King… proclaimed by these Foreign Realm cultivators…
Could save them from this chaotic, endlessly suffering Yin-Yang Macrocosm.
They believed in the Buddhist order’s afterlife, believed in the Daoist order’s non-action, yearned for the salvation of the God-Spirits.
In that chaotic era.
Even a Primordial God as powerful as King Yanfu had truly believed that one day an Outer God from the Foreign Realm could redeem this Cosmos.
Could end this long, protracted chaos.
Until a thousand years ago.
The Other-Self curse finally fell upon the cultivators from the Foreign Realm.
And so the compassionate disciples of the Buddhist order took up their vajras. With the butcher’s blade in hand, there was no shore to turn back to!
And so the pure and non-active Daoist cultivators raised the Clear Wind Sword. One Sword came from the west, and beyond the heavens there were no immortals!
God-Spirits became devils, great demons became monsters.
And Heavenly Demons like Lin Qi, mm, continued to be Heavenly Demons.
