Cookie Policy

Cookies

For reading: none from us. The site itself sets no cookies when you browse or read.

For ads: only with your permission. To keep the site free, we use Google AdSense to show ads. If you're in the UK, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, Google's consent message asks before Google and its partners use cookies to choose and measure ads, and your answer is remembered in a cookie so you aren't asked on every page. The Privacy Policy explains what Google does and how to opt out.

If you manage the site: staff who sign in to the admin area receive two strictly necessary cookies (sessionid and csrftoken) that keep them securely logged in. They are deleted when the session ends.

Changing your choice

While ads are shown, use the Privacy Choices link at the bottom of the home page to change or withdraw your consent at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; ads will still appear, but they won't be based on your interests.

Settings saved in your browser

To remember choices you make, the site uses your browser's local storage:

These stay on your device, are never sent to us, and are used only to provide the features you use. They don't need your consent: UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations) doesn't require consent for storage that is strictly necessary to provide something you've asked for, such as remembering your display settings.

Removing them

Clear this site's data in your browser settings at any time. The site will simply go back to its default settings.

Changes

If we add anything else that isn't strictly necessary, such as analytics, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
